Could the Holocaust happen in the USA?

The Holocaust could happen in the United States as it could happen anywhere in the world. The United States is very diverse with caucasian, African American, Asian, Mexican and etc. If one of these ethnicities were to get angry over racial slurs, how they are being treated, and pay then they could possibly get mad and try kill evryone else but their race. I believe that this is probably never going to happen though because our army would take over that problem very fast. This is why I don't think the Holocaust could happen in the United States.

Genocide in Rwanda

In Rwanda there has been a women named Pauline Nyiramasuhuko, she is the first women ever to be charged with genocide. She killed about 800,000 people because of there ethnic. She mainly killed Tutsis. I think this should never happen in any country to kill at least 800,000 people before someone does something to stop it. The Holocaust

On Wednesday I took the Holocaust pre test and I knew most of the information without watching Oprah and Elie. SomethingI learned was that the Holocaust lasted 10 to 11 years. Yesterday I learned that Elie slept on slate of wood with 4 other people without a mattress and each one had a blanket. If you were a  young kid you would be killed no matter what and i thought that was the saddest part. Somethings I would like to know more about is what they ate daily. I have already read night and it was a very good book.

What I like to read

Hello, my name is Jordan Kelly. I like to read mysery novels about murders and crime. I also like to read funny books to get a little laugh every once in a while. My favorite books to read are all of John Grisom book and Sherlock Holmes. My least favorite books to read are love stories and non-fiction books I just don't find them very interesting to me. Currenetly I'm reading the book; Lockdown. This book is about a kid named Alex Sawyer who is convicted of murder he didn't commit, so he is put in a prison a mile bellow the earth and has to find a way out or die down beneath the world above him.

A Day In the Life

Some days are like dreams

thinking about that one and only thing on your mind,
whether your running away from a pack of wolves,
or chasing your dreams,
some days are just like your dreams,
SO WAKE UP.

The other day in class we watched a movie called, Gattaca, and not to long ago we finished a book called, Fahrenheit 451. The two things have a lot of things in common such as they are both dystopian societies. In Fahrenheit 451 the society was very crazy and were not allowed to read books or there house would get burned down even if they were in the house. In Gattaca everyone looked alike and were made by choosing the genes you wanted your son or daughter to have, they did this so everyone would be a smart, athletic or beautiful person. Some other things that are alike in the two stories are that both societies were under a lot of surveillance at all times of the day. these are only a few things that are alike in these two stories. Some differences are that in Gattaca people are alike and dress almost the same but in Fahrenheit 451 they are very much so different. Thats the only difference I can think of but both of these stories are a dystopian society.

Yesterday we watched a movie in class called Bullied about a student who was gay and had no friends and was getting injured and his life was at risk everyday. This movie made me think of all the people that get bullied because of what other people think. In the movie we watched the kid was gay and people called him names and physically hurt him. Some questions we got after the movie were do people at your school get bullied? I believe some people do get bullied at our school but not a lot. What do people get bullied for? People at my school might get bullied because of there clothes, age, height, weight, looks, etc. Do teachers do anything to stop bullying? Yes teachers do a lot at our school to prevent bullying from happening.
This movie is about bullying and it is giving teachers ways to prevent it from happening. The article is about helping teachers and counslers to create a safer enviroment for not just gays or lesbians but all kids.

Conflict in this story totally changes the charachteristics of Tyler from the beginning of the book to the end of the book. Tyler used to be nerd and an outsider until he thought he was being left out. Then he started doing bad things and dressing different and acting different around others. His grades also dropped and after a while he began to think more suicidal.The charachteristics of Tyler changed mutiple times and this book.

Inside the picture it says nerd boy because everyone calls tyler a nerd. Right now im in the middle of the book and it is pretty good so far.

Is starring at girls who dress scantily considered sexual harassment? Dressin lik this isnt consider sexual harassment because sexual harassment has to be sexual not visual.Is it acceptabler for boys to stare? Yes, beacuse the girls are dressing how they want so I dont understand why boys cant stare.

I beleive it is okay to wear what you want as long as its not obsurd. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
But its okay if you want to dress scantily but you cant get mad at someone starring at you for dressing like that. This is just m,y opinion on how you should dress...!!!!!!!!.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Josh Gunderson a public speaker that came to our school totalk about "Addiction to Facebook". He talked about not posting your ever move because you never know who is looking at your Facebook page. He also talked about cyber bullying and how it affects other peoples lives. He showed us some photos of young kids who have commited suicide to cyber and face-2-face bullying. Josh has talked to many students and tolded all of them that the bottom line is "don't post something online if you dont want anyone to see it, because once its on the internet it's on there FOREVER".
